“Cradle of Astronauts” is a captivating 25-minute
work-in-progress documentary that weaves together the
narratives of Ohio’s legendary astronauts—John Glenn, Neil
Armstrong, Jim Lovell, and Judy Resnik—with the personal
odyssey of Bill Hinsch, an artist grappling with adversity. His
monumental 12 ft x 9 ft painting, now proudly displayed in the
Ohio Statehouse Rotunda, serves as a testament to his
perseverance and talent.
With aspirations to expand the documentary to a full hour,
efforts are underway to secure funding for the remaining 35
minutes, with all proceeds from this event dedicated to its completion.
